Call For Proposals

The 6th Interdisciplinary Society for Quantitative Research in Music and Medicine (ISQRMM) conference will be held virtually from June 3-4, 2023. The purpose of the conference is to explore questions and techniques regarding the efficacy of music and health. The conference will be held via Zoom with live presentations and panels, and prerecorded performances.

Keynote Speaker

We are pleased to announce that Dr. John Stuart Reid will be our keynote speaker for the 2023 conference.
Dr. Reid is a renowned UK-based acoustic-physics researcher specializing in audible sound therapy, where he examines the healing properties of sound on a wide range of scenarios including but not limited to soft tissues and broken bones to sound treatments that support the body by ‘destructive’ principles, such as the shattering of kidney stones, to brain’s pleasure centers, leading to hormonal secretions and ‘feel good’ effects.
Dr. Reid will address the intriguing topic on sound healing at the cellular level.
